About Me
Hi, I'm Athena Savvas - a passionate advocate for sustainability and women's empowerment. Currently, I’m the Sustainability and Impact Manager at DISSH, leading initiatives to integrate sustainable practices into our business operations. Previously, I was the Sustainability and Projects Manager at M.J. Bale, where I played a pivotal role in the brand's achievement of becoming B Corp certified, renewable energy transition and sustainability strategy development.
Beyond my corporate roles, I previously founded a social enterprise dedicated to closing the gender gap in the workforce by facilitating mentorships and upskilling workshops for young women at the onset of their careers. My commitment to positive change extends to humanitarian work in rural Cambodia, where I collaborated with local communities on grassroots initiatives and guided young Australians in volunteer efforts.
Ultimately, my work and passion are reflections of my dedication to creating a sustainable and equitable future for all.
